ABOUT OUR GENERAL BOARD


Bishop G.E. Livingston is the Senior Pastor of Life Changers Church (Decatur, IL) and the Presiding Prelate for the United Covenant Churches of Christ. He has a Bachelor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Ministry, a Master of Arts in Theology, and a Doctor of Divinity. He is a successful businessman and the author of God Is Looking For Your Greatness, a book designed to assist readers in understanding and reaching their full potential in life. Bishop Livingston is a dynamic communicator and community leader. He is the CEO of Robertson Charter School (Decatur, IL) serving nearly 400 students and their families, with a staff of forty-seven. He is a highly sought after education consultant and life and pastoral coach.

Bishop Terry Lamar Hill, Jr. is Secretary-General for the United Covenant Churches of Christ. He is the founder and Senior Pastor of The Citadel Church of Jacksonville.  Bishop Hill is an alum of Logos Christian College. In 2006, he completed the prestigious Summer Leadership Institute of the Harvard Divinity School. In August of 2012, he was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree.

Bishop Hill is the host of the “Power Up with Pastor Terry” on Praise 107.9FM. He presents a balanced beginning to the day with laughter, inspiration, and the Word of God. In addition to serving as Shepherd and radio host, he is an actor and author, having penned two devotionals, “When God Speaks Through Our Children” and “When God Speaks: In Daily Life”.

He serves in ministry with his wife, First Lady Kim Yvette Hill.

Bishop James Chambers is the Senior Pastor of the historic City of Hope Greater Saint Mary Church (Brooklyn, New York). He formerly served as the Secretary-General for the United Covenant Churches of Christ. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health and Human Services majoring in Counseling and Alcoholism and Addiction Counseling, a Master of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is the founder and Practice Director of NuSeasons Marriage and Family Therapy, P.C., a private practice located in Bedford Stuyvesant Heights, Brooklyn, New York. A service and ministry committed to the individual, family, community, and the Church; addressing pre-marital counseling issues, PTSD, Depression, Addictions and Dependencies, Family, Couples, and Individual Therapy.

Bishop Norman Hairston, II is the Senior Pastor of the Zion Progressive Cathedral International (Gary, IN) and the General Treasurer of the United Covenant Churches of Christ. He is the Midwest Regional Bishop. He formerly served as the General Treasurer. He formerly served as National Financial Secretary, Suffragan Bishop for the State of Indiana, National Minister of Music, and Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Presiding Bishop. He is the CEO of the City of Zion, Inc. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity. He is actively involved in his community.

Bishop Jeffrey Broughton
is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Bishop for the United Covenant Churches of Christ and a General Board Member. Additionally, he is the Director of International Affairs. Bishop Broughton is the founder and Senior Pastor of the Living Grace Worship Cathedral in Middletown, DE. He has extensively studied theology and divinity and is currently enrolled in a Master of Divinity program through our partner, Lancaster Bible College, and Seminary.

Bishop Broughton is active in his community, meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the residents. He is a Chaplain and Grief Counselor who assists persons experiencing trauma and transition. He does this on a daily basis.

Bishop Broughton serves the Church with his wife, Executive Pastor Dawn Broughton.

Bishop Sylvester Robinson
is a General Board member of the United Covenant Churches of Christ and the Senior Pastor of Love Fellowship Christian Church with two locations – Orlando, Florida, and Marion, Indiana. He also served as the National Director of the U.C.C.C. M.E.G.A. Men’s Ministry. 

Bishop Robinson is the Co-Founder of The Jobs Partnership of Florida. He continues to serve as a Board member and Chairman Emeritus. The Jobs Partnership has seen nearly 2500 graduates complete their program toward gainful employment and better lives. He is a U.S. Navy veteran who served for 20 years. His tour of service stationed him in Pearl Harbor, HI, Okinawa, Japan, San Antonio, TX,  Camp Lejuene, NC, San Diego, CA, Portsmouth, VA, and ultimately in Orlando, FL.

Bishop Robinson serves in ministry with his wife, Pastor Cynthia Robinson.
